I was born in late Leaf-Fall to my Father-Tigerpelt and my mother-Embertail. No of course I wasn't the only kit. I had a brother-Owlkit. We never got along. He never listened to anyone, and would always lay around. He wouldn't even play with me. So I had to find someone else to play with. Most times I went off by myself, sometimes I would play fight with Lynxkit-another kit that was in the nursery at the time.

Heart pounding, he made his way out of the Warrior's den. His pelt was a tangled mess of dirt, mud and moss. He hadn't left his nest for days. He spotted Silverstrike sitting by herself in a sunny spot.
